This beautifully considered home belongs to a professional photographer with a passion for both creative expression and refined design. Homeplay was brought in to deliver a fully integrated technology solution, covering every aspect of the property—from lighting design and control to audio, TV, heating, intercom, security and robust whole-home Wi-Fi.
The client wanted a home that felt effortless to live in, but also offered powerful functionality beneath the surface. Throughout the home, we implemented elegant lighting scenes and intuitive control via Lutron, with multi-room audio and TV distribution creating a seamless entertainment experience. Carefully placed speakers and TVs are integrated subtly into the architecture, maintaining the clean, contemporary aesthetic.
From the mood lighting in the dining area to the flawless Wi-Fi coverage, every system works together to support a lifestyle that’s creative, connected and beautifully curated.

A key part of the home is a truly versatile space designed to function as both a professional photography studio and a media room. The client, a working photographer, needed a room that could effortlessly transition between creative work and relaxation—so we designed a flexible, technology-rich environment that delivers on both fronts.
A ceiling-mounted projector and discreet drop-down screen transform the space into a cinematic retreat at the touch of a button, while a surround sound system creates an immersive audio experience for film nights or client presentations. Flexible track lighting was carefully specified to provide adjustable, high-quality illumination for shoots, without interfering with the clean architectural lines of the space.
The result is a room that feels calm, controlled and highly functional—whether it’s being used for editing, photographing, or watching a film with the family. It’s a perfect example of how thoughtful design and smart technology can support multiple purposes without compromise.
