Environment
Create the perfect backdrop to your everyday life. From lighting to shading, our bespoke solutions help illuminate your environment and transform your surroundings at the touch of a button. And it’s not just what you see but what you feel, with tailored heating and cooling control systems that ensure your comfort.

Lighting
Our luxury lighting solutions set the scene for the look and feel of a room. From selecting fixtures to beam angles and colour temperature, we work with you from the very start to tailor a lighting design built around your space, considering everything from furniture layout to room use. Working hand-in-hand with your build team, we’ll provide detailed plans in CAD, alongside fixture schedules, wiring schematics and electrical loadings, so they’re fully equipped from the start of construction.
We craft lighting control systems that allow you to change the atmosphere with a single touch, distilling even the most elaborate of lighting schemes into simple options that provide the perfect lighting for your every activity. And we’ll be on hand to assist at every step - from design through to final scene setting.

Shading
Harnessing natural light through shading can help transform your rooms, and offer privacy when the sun goes down. We help elevate your living areas with our automated shading solutions, combining luxury blinds and curtains in a range of designer fabrics with state-of-the-art, whisper quiet technology.

Heating and cooling
Ensure the ultimate home comfort with our simple-to-use, energy efficient heating and cooling systems, designed around your space and daily activities. With invisible temperature sensors and elegant touch panels, we’ll help improve the aesthetics of your home so you can say goodbye to complicated, unsightly thermostats.
The design process
Good lighting is decided long before anyone installs a fixture. The most common thing we’re asked is when to bring us in — and the honest answer is earlier than most people expect.
At concept stage, we work from your architect’s drawings and your interior designer’s mood boards. This is when the important decisions get made: where light should come from, what each room is actually for at different times of day, and which surfaces you want to reveal.
At technical design stage, we issue full CAD lighting plans, fixture schedules, wiring schematics and electrical loadings, so your electrician and main contractor have everything they need before first fix. Getting this right removes the single most expensive category of change on site — moving cables after they’ve been buried.
At second fix, fixtures go in and the system is commissioned.
At scene setting, we sit with you at dusk and tune the actual light — the levels, the fade times, the moments. This is the step that separates a lighting system from a lighting design, and it is the one most often skipped by others.
What we specify
We are not tied to a single manufacturer, and we don’t sell boxes. We specify what suits the project.
For lighting control we are a Lutron dealer — the system we install most, and the one with the longest track record of still working a decade later. For architectural fixtures we are a dealer for John Cullen Lighting. For shading we specify motorised blinds and curtains in designer fabrics with whisper-quiet drives, with hardware and lifts from Future Automation.
Questions we’re asked
When should I involve you in my project?
Ideally at concept stage, alongside your architect and interior designer. Realistically, any time before first fix electrics. After plaster, options narrow and costs rise.
What does a lighting design cost?
As a guide, professional lighting design in the UK typically costs between £20 and £50 per square metre. The right figure depends on the size and complexity of the project, so talk to us about yours.
Do I have to replace my existing lighting to add control?
No, usually not. Lighting control can usually be added to the lighting you already have.
Can you work with my architect and interior designer?
Yes, and we prefer it. We provide CAD plans, fixture schedules and electrical loadings directly to your build team. We also run RIBA, BIID and SBID accredited CPD training for architects and interior designers at our Experience Centre.
Do you cover my area?
We work across Surrey, London and the Home Counties from our Experience Centre in Sunbury-on-Thames, and we take on projects across the UK and Europe.
